Housing & Community Residency – We network available resources for rehousing a woman and her dependent children to help women in crisis to obtain stable, long-term housing.
Peer Support Services – We teach women how to share their knowledge and resources and provide emotional support, social interaction, and practical guidance to lift everyone up.
Emergency Housing – In life-threatening situations, we are equipped to assist in removing women and children from dangerous situations and providing a safe shelter for the short-term until a long-term alternative can be arranged.
Employment Preparation & Support – We support women through our peer mentorship program for ongoing employment, with professional women from our team and from the community. Every woman is paired with a mentor to stand beside her as she journeys toward beginning her working life.
College Bound – We recognize that higher education gives a woman a hand up as she builds a life for herself and her children. Whether that is a traditional college degree or a technical degree in a trade, we help her to achieve her educational goals.
Community Service – Our peer support mentors help women explore the underlying reasons why they have come into contact with the judicial system while serving Court-ordered community service hours to provide a genuine service to the Roots community.
