While based in rural North Carolina, we are able to assist women both in and outside of our facilities by providing emergency shelter, life-skills, peer support programming, educational and job skills training, and growing residential facilities. With three homes open, our plan calls for 21 additional tiny homes to be built over the next five years.
Roots helps women at all stages rebuild. Every woman’s journey is unique, and each faces different challenges to stability and growth. We offer a structured framework that fosters emotional, spiritual, and intellectual development, empowering our residents and community members with a purpose and strength needed to thrive.
Education and Job Skills provides not only the practical tools to thrive financially but also instills the confidence to meet life’s challenges with purpose and dignity. Whether it’s finishing a high school degree, getting a college education, or attending a technical school program, we meet each woman where she is and help her get to where she wants to be.
